| Next we filled in the area behind the pond with rock to form a base for the waterfall and tunnel assembly. |
| Next was
the beginning of the actual railroad portion of this
project, a tunnel for underneath the waterfall. Using 2x12 treated lumber, I constructed the tunnel. I used a template to assure that the corners would accommodate the Locomotives and cars for the train. I left the back of the tunnel exposed, using 2x4's as the support to allow access from behind the future waterfall. |
