B&B  April 2 1977 - December 11, 2003

In the fall of 2003, B&B started to show signs of problems with walking.  This condition in horses is referred to as foundered.  What it means is that her hoofs were causing her great pain.  She also had signs of arthritis.    We gave her a lot of medication and pain killer but it just didn't help.  We finally made the decision that it wasn't fair to her to have her live with so much pain.

B&B or BB as we called her joined our family in May of 2002 along with Joey, our stallion.  She was a wonderful, loving horse, always greeting us with a knicker when we came through the gate to see her and Joey.   In our short time she became very special to us and we will miss her greatly.
