light. We had a wonderful room with high speed internet, cable television and all the amenities that you would expect. With the TV we started to here of the damage and death toll. Then later in the year, the USA experienced their own disaster, hurricane Katrina and Rita. Then in Afganistan and Pakistan there was enormas earthquake. What ties all these disasters together? Are they “Acts of God”? Are the warnings about the future? Are they intended to scare us into repentance? Are the signs that this sinful world is approaching the “End Of Days”? I don’t believe that these disasters are “Acts of God”. I do believe that their occurrence does indicated that we are living in the time of the end of the world as we know it. Is this frightening? What a year for natural disasters! Though the tsunami actually happened in 2004, the impact of it continued well into 2005 and still continues for the hundreds of thousands of people that live in the area’s affected. The response from the rest of the world was quick as possible. Being in Thailand and arriving at Phuket Thailand on Dec 26 2004, the day of the earthquake and tsunami, was an experience I will never forget. Of course when we arrived, we didn’t know the extent of the disaster. When we got to our hotel and got checked in, we only knew the hotel had experienced the tsunami, but damage was suppose to be minimal and we were encouraged to come on down. The next morning we saw the damage and compared with other areas of Thailand the damage was |

that the end happens when there is an appearing. Who or what appears? It is the second coming of Jesus, the Son of God. The entire issue is whether we believe and trust in God to meet our needs no matter how those needs are met.
