This year we were in Roseburg at the folks for the July 4 weekend. It was great being there with Mon & Dad Fletcher, Don, Karen and their children, Kristin, Derek Bryan and Bryan’s Wife Rori. It was just a week after Bryan and Rori’s 1st anniversary. We had a good time with them. We also met Kristin’s friend Matt.

arriving. We found the area and a lady we had talked to last year about mini’s. Had a nice visit with her and enjoyed looking at her horses. She had one that was particularly cute, a mare named Lady Godiva. She is 11 years old. We hope she may be pregnant by Cowboy Del. We won’t know for sure |

On August 29, Cam took a Monday off from work (Jeri has Monday’s off already) and we went to the Oregon State Fair. We like to see the animals and especially the horses. As we had found the area last year where the miniature horses were located, we headed that way soon after |

to Canada and Camp Hope. The weather was great and we had a smooth drive. Friday at the camp, some of the attendee’s went to the local Glider air field for a special opportunity for some glider rides. Jeri and I with my mom and friend Allen Neil choose to go to Harrison Hot Spring which is on a lake about 25 miles from Camp Hope. |

Sabbath was special with a presentation by a group called the Freedom singers (www.freedomsingers.com). I won’t tell you their story but if you ever have a chance to hear them please go. If you visit their webpage, several of the pictures there were taken by Jeri. Saturday night Jeri and I shared our Thailand pictures.

Jeri and I were able to attend the yearly Northwest Adventist Amateur Radio Association convention in Hope BC Canada this last year. Every year for the last 10-15 years, this group has met at Camp Hope, the site of the British Columbia Adventist Campmeeting. We invited Cam’s mother to join us and we left Thursday for the roughly 6-7 hour drive up I-5 |
